As someone diagnosed less than a year ago, I truly relate to the stigma of growing up with Adhd. The stigma of being different and having this disorder can be really daunting, and not being put on medicine until recently has given me a lot of insight on living with this. It’s changed my life. Not in a way that’s perfect, but I’m a lot more functional. I do hope one day, we’ll be able to combat the majority of stigma against people with Adhd, and help bring light to the importance of stigmatizing mental health overall.
